Now the vex's website is gone i will give some tips. When you first start out go to stations, planets, and ships. When you hail the stations and planets you will see trade offers. They will tell you where to go and even give you a bonus for hostile territory. At the start you will have a small ship with small cargo so upgrade cargo before you upgrade weapons. For ships they will being selling and buying goods. The only thing is that it is sometimes hard to find another ship willing to buy your goods.When you have a reasonable amount of money you can either upgrade your ship, or give your teams some exp. They can be trained at Vulcan University. After your teams have experience you can conquer uninhabited planets. If you have your starting empires flag in your inventory it will conquer it for that empire if you ditch the flag you conquer it for yourself.

If you want to improve you relation with a planets government or protect your own empire buy a station from a friendly government. To build it cost duranuim and some time. There is a very common glitch where it disappears. That is all for now next post will be cheats if people request them .

"I liked the basic system."

It needs a make over. It has all of the standard towers, but standard is boring try making more unique towers. Maybe a futuristic setting or maybe even far in the past. I understand how hard it is to make a defense game(at least for me anyway). So to all you people giving this game a low score it may have standard stuff, but it takes a lot of work and effort to make even a basic one. If you still complain please release you own defense game, and then we will see if you have the right for criticism. Well that ends by rant enjoy this wonderful game.
